Hi and hello fellow bloggers, assuming that people who do really read my 'junk'. Wahey! My first post for the year 2007! I would like to mention a few things before we get on to the real topic. Heh, as if I do have a topic to write about where most of my entries are just merely daily ramblings. Therefore I wish to make a change...blog about things which I find interesting. If you do not find any of it interesting, please leave this page at once....and never come back again! Hehehe kidding.
First, I wanted to list down my resolutions:
Have you encountered troublesome children? Well, I accept the kicking and all the noise they make but ONE thing that I can't accept is when children spit their parents. Why do they do this? I can only think of a reason or two. BUT WHY? I am no child psychologist. BUT it is very distrubing. Not only that it is embarassing but as parents to that child...heck it would be sad to see them behave that way.
On Tuesday, I get to watch this small little cute girl spitting her mum when she's angry. A friend of mine said that she has this hearing problems and all...and she's somewhat slow in her speech. But I don't think that is the reason why a child can act such way.
With the power of google (lol!), I managed to find some interesting stuff about this 'disturbing behaviour'. This site teaches parents a formula for finding solutions to problem behaviour. Its a good read!
She also shares the same characteristic as this girl which I have found on this site.
I know I am in no position of providing any solutions of my own because I have no medical training hence the quotations I've made. I'm curious little bugger, thats who I am. Lol! Heh. I am currently doing my degree in primary education, so it's not that surprising!
*clears throat* One more thing, I'm not trying to humiliate the parents or anything (wah defenisve eh! hehe) but this is a serious problem, so what would you do? Email me at solidarity99[at]bruneistudent.com for answers/suggestions/spelling & grammatical mistakes. However I am more interested in the first two :p I would also love to write & research more about this....but it is almost 2am. :(
Thanks for reading :)
btw Sham was on the paper today! Hee I'm proud of him.
First, I wanted to list down my resolutions:
- to lose weight >.<
- belajar kuat-kuat (study hard + smart)
- to have a recipe book....a scrapbook which is, hopefully full of easy recipes.
- to be nice to everybody (being nice here is not the same as being flirtatious, savvy?)
- to exercise more
- save more money
- spend less time brustuing

"The child who spits is simply using this form of communication to let his mother know that he doesn't like what she said", says Corwin.
"The only way to get our child's behavior to change," Corwin emphasizes, "is to change our own behavior." For example, the mother with the spitting toddler realized that she was giving her son lots of attention when he spat. At Corwin's suggestion, the next time he spit, she picked him up from behind and took him to his room.
She also shares the same characteristic as this girl which I have found on this site.
Haley is five years old, mildly autistic and out of control. She's one of a growing number of children with severe aggressive behavioural disorders. One minute she is hugging her mother, but seconds later she is biting and punching her. Her aggression towards other children has put her on the verge of being withdrawn from school and her parents are desperate.Wow! Seriously?
As with Haley, no treatment, doctor or psychologist has been able to help… until now.
