The topic of dicussion for today is, "Do you have a diary?" or to be exact "Do you still write in your diary?". The idea of keeping a diary might sound childish for some of you. But for me it's not, it keeps my most intimate feelings and my thoughts safe. Safe from prying eyes. I used to have codes so that people cannot read it - yeah to that extent.
Young teenagers especially girls who just entered teen-hood might received a diary for their birthday present. My parents gave me a diary for my birthday, it has Garfield on its cover - purple pinkish and it comes with a lock. Personally, a diary is sort of a transition item. A transition from a child to a teenager. Which currently I'm reading The Diary of Anne Frank. What's the connection you might asked? Its fairly obvious, innit?
You here she meant was the diary. Her entry is always full of hope, strength, fear and concern. Her life in hiding is full of fear! See a diary is full of life histories! A diary can help others to understand the things that a person went through in her or his life. Hence, keeping a diary is essential!!
For now, this blog is my diary. Though my thoughts are no longer private but it still serves its purpose. My secondary diary is the messages I have received from my phone. I write them down because I felt that it is important to do so...as a future reference. I can read back what Sham had sent me. Strange? Maybe or maybe not.
Blogging forever? I think not. One day, not-so-solid-anymore will take its last stroll. But the question is when.

"On Friday, 12th June, I woke up at six o'clock and no wonder; it was my birthday. But of course I was not allowed to get up at that hour, so I had to control my curiousity until quarter to seven. Then I could bear it no longer, and went to the dining-room, where I received a warm welcome from Moortie (the cat).
Soon after seven I went to Mummy and Daddy and then to the sitting-room to undo my presents. The first to greet me was you, possibly the nicest of all." - Sunday, 14th June, 1942.
