Yesterday, dad was explaning to us on why the flames were huge at the sea and at BLNG. He said something about BLNG might have problems in receiving the gas from the telaga minyak or something. So, somehow it has to stop supplying gas to BLNG due to this problem. Therefore, the gas has to be burnt into the atmosphere. So this process is called shutdown. There you go, some terms I've used might be incorrect.
