I would like to thank a black customer who gave me an ego-booster today. He may not be reading this but I'll thank him anyway. A black guy came in the morning to our hardware store & he was searching for a connector for his DVD. Kate & I assisted him with all the hassle looking for the right amphere for his DVD which is 13 amps, so to be on the safe side he bought a 10 amp & 15 amp connector. Then he left the store. After five minutes he came back & asked me whether we sell a transformer. I know what a transformer looked like but Im not sure whether we sell it in our store. Mind you, its a big hardware store with more than 500 items. So I asked one of the men lah. Then inda semana-mana...he asked me,

Him - "What's your name by the way?"

Me- Gave him my curious look "Nisa"

Him - "Something tells me that you're a smart person"

Me - with a frown, "Huh, really?" "How?"

Him - "I dunno maybe its chemistry"

Me - "Heh"
